A nice 19th C. splint Northeast Indian basket with blue, salmon and yellow weavers and some arithmetic notations written in pencil on the bottom.  One small section of weaver near the base has been replaced.  It measures 5 1/2" long, 5 1/2" wide and 4 1/2 " high.

A very nice 19th C. New England Indian basket with a hand decorated stockade design.  The basket has minor breaks to the splint, including the rim wrap, and it  measures 7" long, 6" wide and 3 1/2" high.  It has a collection inventory number on the bottom.

An early 20th C. splint Indian basket from Maine with decorative weaving.  It measures 6" in diameter and 3" high and is in very good condition.

A very nice 19th C. Northeast Indian basket, probably from eastern NY State.  The wide weaver has a stamped and dabbed blue sunburst design and the ribs have a blue sawtooth pattern.  There are blue and salmon stripes down the length of the ribs below the wide weaver.  It measures 5 1/2" high and 8 3/4" diameter.

19th C. New England Indian basket with alternating red swabbed weavers.  It has some minor breaks to the splint and measures 10" long, 9" wide and  6 1/2" high.

A beautifully decorated mid 19th C. Southeastern New England splint Indian basket, colored with 'Mohegan Pink'.  It has a crescent shaped stamp on the outside bottom and the name Estelle is handwritten in pencil on the inside bottom.  It measures 14" long, 10" wide and 8 1/4" high.  It has some minor breaks to the splint and at one time it had a lid and side handles.
